Due to recent events: A summary of the highlights from the Slackline Contest in Pasing.

In the "Residenza Veneziana" residential complex from Terrafinanz, there was an international competition at the beginning of July: The Gibbon Slackline Contest, a popular sport from the USA. At four locations, a camera team filmed the world's best slackliners from America and Europe on behalf of Galileo. Save the date:

On Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 7:10 PM there will be a report during the show "Galileo" on Pro 7.

On the occasion of the transmission and due to the large interest in the artistic performances, we are showing a summary of the highlights here:

These impressive scenes were filmed by Terrafinanz, the original piece and the winner of the competition can be seen in full length during Galileo.

For the interested individuals who do not know of the new popular sport: "slackline" is the unsecure balancing on a rope, as you may have seen at a circus. This is where "slacklining" has it's origin, but the difference is that the high rope is tense, while the slackline stretches under the weight of the slackliner. Through this, there are a variety of balance options and types of balancing. It is very fun to watch, that is why you should remember the date for the Galileo show.

Gibbon Slackline Contest in the "Residenza Veneziana" in Pasing.

At the beginning of July, the lines were tightened at the construction site of the Munich developer Terrafinanz. The trendy sport from the USA had now also reached Pasing. At four locations, a camera team filmed the world's best slackliners from America and Europe on behalf of Galileo. Here the slackline was not only tightened over the excavation pit of the 5th phase of construction and from the playground to the 1st upper floor, but rather even 15 m high between the construction crane and balcony.
The two teams had to give it their all at these three sets and at the end, the Europeans succeeded.

"Slackline", in other words, is the non-secured balancing on a rope - similar to that what you may have seen at a circus. This is where "slacklining" has it's origin, but the difference is that the high rope is tense, while the slackline stretches under the weight of the slackliner. Through this, there is a variety of balance options and types of balancing. Thus,
the athletes can also do tricks, like Jose Pablo Munos from Chile, who "surfs" on the slackline.

Construction site party in the "Residenza Veneziana": not only the sun was shining

With the stunning summer weather on the idyllic Würm canal, the building developer Terrafinanz celebrated the sales start of the 5th phase of construction of the residential complex "Residenza Veneziana" and the opening of the new penthouse model apartment last week in Pasing.

The residential ensemble, which has been called by its residents as "Little Venice" proved its worth during the construction site party last Thursday:

With shining sun, the beautiful architecture, the Italian flair of on the idyllic Würm canal, the small Rialto bridges and the romantic atmosphere were all felt. With over 400 guests, we toasted to the sales start of the 5th and final phase of construction and the recently finished new penthouse model apartment.

At the buffet with Italian delicacies and a glass of wine or champagne,
neighbours, residents, buyers and interested individual could get to know each other, talk and enjoy the stunning weather.

The invited guests were visibly excited by the tour of the completely furnished model apartment with the two breathtaking, beautiful roof terraces and the stunning view. And some people who were interested and received information directly on site would have liked to move in right after the visit.

The children felt comfortable in the "Residenza Veneziana" as well: in the play area, the children could paint, build, play and simply relax under the supervision of two trained caretakers.

There was an additional reason to celebrate for the developer Terrafinanz and their employees: before the official sales start, already 50 percent of the condominiums in Pasing were reserved. The "Residenza Veneziana" is thus currently one of the most desired real estate properties in Munich. This is no surprise - the condominiums are in a peaceful, green location and some of them are even in the Pasing city park.

Idyllic Nicholas celebration in Pasin!

Electrifying atmosphere at the St. Nicolas festival in Pasing!

Upon nightfall, a swarm of children waited for St. Nicolas. The scent of gingerbread, star-shaped cinnamon cookies and spiced wine was in the air and the adults were also looking forward to the appearance of St. Nicolas. In line with good old tradition, St. Nicolas asked the famous question: "Were you good this year?" and talked with the children. Poems were read, Christmas songs were sung and of course, gifts were exchanged. The glowing eyes of the children and the smiles of the mothers, fathers, grandparents and friends were the gift for St. Nicolas, who added a lot of joy to the evening in the illuminated "Residenza Veneziana". Up until bedtime, people sat enjoying rounds of children’s punch and spiced wine together until St. Nicolas said goodbye to the many small and big guests. And everybody agreed: "We are going to do this next year again!".
