Presented by the Terrafinanz and Baywobau - with the mayor Christian Ude.

Admittedly: There is not much that reminds of the legendary "fairytale king" Ludwig II. in Munich - other than the Nymphenburg castle as his place of birth and the residence as his place of residence and governing. A bronze bust on the Cornelius bridge, a memorial in the Maximilian facility, an image on the so-called "Königslaube" above the entrance to the town city tower, the last resting area in the Michaelskirche, also a cylinder, a "melon" and a salt and pepper shaker from his personal possession that are located in a Munich city museum, pictures like the "night sleigh ride" - otherwise, the tourism kitsch dominates here with all types of "Kini" portraits on beer glasses, tin covers and t-shirts.

A new, ambitious form of artistic expression with the topic of Ludwig II has started the NY.LIVING art contest: Students of all ages from the Munich Academy for Fine Arts were invited to develop their contributions. I have gladly taken over the patronage for this competition; the ten best works are now being shown in this art book. And I congratulate all of the premiered artists, the NY.LIVING GmbH Terrafinanz and Baywobau as a project company from the Nymphenburg courtyards who all have tendered the competition, and to all of those who receive this successful work!
