Top Infrastructure
Neuperlach is a relatively young neighbourhood in the southeast of Munich, built in 1967 and composed of various large housing complexes. Meanwhile the area has developed into an attractive location, not least of all because of its ideal infrastructure and easy access to transportation. Various bus routes and several direct U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations ensure top mobility and short distances to social, health and educational institutions allow for a relaxed style of daily life. The shopping possibilities are numerous and the nearby shopping centre “pep” fulfils all further shopping desires.
The Neuperlach Ostpark offers diverse recreational possibilities.
Use your Leisure Time
The beautiful Ostpark lies directly on your doorstep and is a major recreational factor of inestimable value. Compared to other historical parks such as the English Garden or the Nymphenburger Park, the 565.000 sq.m. Ostpark is a more modern green. Built in 1973, the Ostpark soon became one of the city’s most important and indispensable recreational oases and leisure facilities.
Ice skating in the stadium, sledding or skiing in winter, year-round swimming in the nearby, newly renovated Michaelibad, long walks, jogging, skating, biking, sunbathing, ordering a beer in the Michaeligarten or simply taking time to enjoy nature– all these things can help you recover from your stressful everyday life and all of it is available within a mere 5 minutes walking distance
The surrounding infrastructure is also excellent. Several kindergartens are close-by: the municipal day nursery on the Karl-Marx-Ring and over 3 different day care centres lie in the nearby Quiddestraße.
This is an elementary school directly on the Karl-Marx-Ring and within just a few minutes walking distance there is the secondary school on the Gerhard-Hauptmann-Ring. Also close-by: the Werner-von-Siemens School and the secondary school in the Quiddestraße. The U-Bahn U4/5/8 can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The large and very popular 50.000 sq.m. shopping centre “pep” with 110 stores, restaurants and cafés is also not far away.
